Mosaic Tile Nippers

Tile nippers are used to make circular or irregular cuts in ceramic tiles. They can also be used to make straight or angular cuts. The trick is to always cut a maximum of 1/4 to 1/8 of an inch at a time. Do not try to cut off a large piece with tile nippers because you will break your tile.

It will take some practice for you to make your desired cuts, so in the beginning you find yourself with some waste pieces. But do not through them out, you will most probably find a use for them somewhere else!

Remember to always wear safety glasses as very sharp fragments of the tile can shoot up as you are cutting.
